Hi Gent's and Ladies,

I have read a few of the forum topics and they make wonderful reading, such as "The Hatter" tales from the coast.

I have just joined the forums today. As I am new to this I will do a lot of lurking absorbing knowledge. I want to get into fossicking. I have a job that gives me 4 days off a week so I am keen to head to the West Coast once I get some gear and do some study to get knowledge. Is there a club here in Christchurch?, is it just for "detector" fans?

Hi there Chewton and welcome to the forum. There is a chch detector club and the details are as follows.
Canterbury Metal Detectors Club. Last sunday of each month 6.30pm at the Papanui Workmans Club.
