Hi I have just returned from Alaska got my boat anchored at Gt Barrier Island, been nugget detecting up there as well as British Columbia with a Gpx 5000 not sure how to get started here reckon it will be the same here all hard work and exercise which I need, been reading the forum posts looks like you have left a few grams for me.

I am sure you have got some great stories to share.
I run a gp3500 great machine, love to have a 5000 though.She is hard work detecting here mate the locations can be few & far between but its still out there.

G'day PM, Welcome to the site. Yep the gold is there but finding it is the hard part. Do you have some adventures & finds from Alaska you can share with us??
I post on an Alaskan site & they sure find some nice gold up there. Short season for them though.
