My first detector was an Ace 250 must be pushing over 10 years ago now. That tells you how good they are but also getting a little long in the tooth. If it was a choice between the Ace 250 and a F2 - The F2 in my opinion would be the best choice faster recovery and numerical target id - The F4 having adjustable ground balance and the 11" DD coil puts it out in the next category and would probably be a keeper. Depends on what type of detecting your doing.

All good machines but I feel the Fishers have the edge.
