hi just seen this auction on trademe any thoughts >?? http://www.trademe.co.nz...isting.aspx?id=595442648

oh and then i googled price check $3500 for a 1935 uncirculated 3pence or $220-$1000 for good condition only 40000 minted ok ya learn something new everyday lol

Yeah, the rim dent is what devalues that puppy. If not for that it's be worth a bit more. Although not much as George's ear is starting to degrade.

I like it as it is better by far than the one have here and it is actually better than average condition regardless of the edge knock - I would be happy with it considering what it is...I always dreamt of getting a really good one with my metal detector but dreams are free - but someone will one day - wait and see!

well i thought i had one today the only silver for the day as i removed dirt it showed 193...... and there was a speck on it i thought please be a 5 please.....and dam thing was a 1933 lol oh well i got a 1934 last week so im ganna try make a nice set :) ill keep on trucking :) oh and also i nearly passed it bye as it rang at an unusual 57 instead of 60 on ATpro which most of the time is a pull tab go figure....now i have to go over all my old ground i been doing lol which i did some today and found 4 pennys lol i think i missed them as they come up on the ATpro as 77 which is a dreded 1c coin most the time. so weird how you can miss targets even after hitting it hard.
