Read somewhere that they are great for large targets but no better then a normal VLF depth wise for small targets (rings, nuggets etc).

Would be interesting to give one a go - they look like they would expensive though without seeing the price tag.

Would be very interesting to take one in to a known gold area and see if it can pick up guaranteed gold signals. Wonder how it would handle rocks in the ground e.g. a typical NZ river bed.
