My poor pro-pointer button died a death after only a month or so of use.....just dead! Thanks to the guys at Tactical Solutions for providing a 'on the spot' no questions asked replacement this morning.....awesome service.

24 hours and counting till the arrival of the CTX (well...hopefully) now that customs have stung me and released it....

Anyone suggest any relatively virgin soil park in auckland for old coins....? Had a bit of a drive around, but many parks are filled...guess need to hunt around the big old trees??

Any tips appreciated.

I can always show places with old coins :-) as i undersand you just want to find something old and cool.
where for me- not really at this stage, all about value from the beaches.

anyway. i think i can do one of the evening this week. if you feel like going with a torch in the dark :-)

was having a squiz on google maps looking for an older park etc....hopefully I have thursday off work this week....maybe the ctx will arrive tomorrow if lucky....maybe thursday.....

Drunk Brother....will hold onto my etrac till yours is sold :) or maybe keep till I can compare the machines....having a play with the CTX xchange2 software and gps mapping etc....wonder if that is useful or not? so far I think I have found a few hundred dollars in $1 and $2 without really trying.... (in the hunt for old coins....12:39/12:40)....pity NZ does not have 5 dollar coins to make the digging more worthwhile. agree, the beach can be more exciting..... still pays for lunch....
