hi all, been waiting for 35 days for a internet connection hows that for service, just catching up with some of the posts still some great finds coming from hagley, seems to be plenty of digging going on,get the thermals out and keep on swingng.i myself have been busy with work and living 45 mins from brisbane its a long day,so i have been dedecting on the northern beaches mainly in the dark, lots of coins, some from the 60s and 70s from the low tide mark and no more than 6 inches deep maybe the recent big storms have moved some serious sand, can only find well corroded junk jewelry but iam sure the good stuff will be there.managed to find a park with some silver in there but after half an hour was kicked out by a camp site manageress, assuring me i needed council permission ,hope this is not the case as near the city there is some great looking river bank parks witch go back to the 1830s. seen a few on the beaches but only with the normal detectors ,they cant do the wet sand properly as you can with the pulse detectors, looking forward to reading more posts happy hunting.roy
