An excellent article and one that brings to mind places I am very familiar with and have pottered about in so great reading from the perspective of anyone who knows the country first hand...now I want a copy of the original!

Interestingly enough I noted a comment relating to the fine gold in a certain spot and yet that area has yielded very little fine gold for me - only heavier or coarser gold generally, small nuggets through to quarter of an ounce and larger.

A great read - I love it.
