Me and the crew went for a wonder up dead horse durring the week has anyone managed to find the old gold mine up their we spent a few hours on the hunt for the mine but no luck lost the dog of the side of a bank tin ass ended up on a tree furn broke his fall 8 lives left another great day out their were to today jd

Hi jd-gone up a couple of times to find it but got distracted!
Its on the left up on the hill a few hundred metres upstream from the ford by all accounts but the track up to it is hard to find-Matt will know lol!

Hey mate there is a track that goes to the mine. It is on the left side of the creek if you are looking upstream. It starts maybe 100m before the ford but is really overgrown at the start, you may not find it. If you go up deadhorse there is a small trickle of a side stream that comes in from the left a few 100m up the creek. Go up this for a about a minute and there will be a big clearing on your left. The mine is just in the bush at the top of the clearing. Might be easier to show u haha. And no I havt been in it.
I sent this as a PM to Jd but thought id copy paste it here too, might help someone else out.

If your real keen for a walk past pear tree and before deadead horse up the top of the hill that has been logged or currently logged was when we up but in the weekend there is an old mine shaft up bout a 30 min walk .can't recall what its called my memory is shot. it had water in it so we didn't go too far?
