Gold cube. Have been using the gold cube for a few weeks now, doing clean ups and test samples. Early test show that it catches fine gold very well and able to process material fast. A 10 litre bucket of concentrates in 8 minutes.

Hi there, total amount of gold on trays is 527.7 grains. Photo 1 is top tray and cought 516.7 grains. Photo 2 is middle tray and cought 10.9 grains. Photo 3 is the bottom tray and cought .9 grain. To date this is the best system I have found to do my clean ups and test runs. It reduces a 10 litre bucket down to about a cup and a half of super concentrates.

Hi Mygrain, Thanks for the pics. I take it the riffles are moulded into the plastic & they look similar to ribbed rubber matting. Are they?, or do they have more of a smaller sloped riffle like in a sluice box. I believe you can fit as many of these together as you want, that they intelock with each section.
Are you running a dredge or is that black sand gold? Looks pretty fine. I also take it that you are just using it to process your concerntrates & not using it as your primary recovery unit. Good to see that most of the gold is caught in the top section, like most gold recovery units should that are set up right.
Not cheap is it.....I might have to look in to making something similar. Good to see it operates on a recycling water system & the whole unit fits into that tub for storeage & transporting. Thanks again. Good to see & hear a report on it.

Many thanks & happy hunting

JW :)

Hi JW
The gold on the trays is from a alluvial source. 27% of the gold is between -12 mesh and +50 mesh, the other 73% is -50 mesh. There are no riffles in the system, the catch system relies on the rubber mat. You can fit as many of these trays as you want together, I have found that the 4 stack model catches all the gold down to -200 mesh with ease. At the moment I am using it for processing concentrates from the screen and highbanker. It can be used for a primary recovery unit, you just have to sieve down to 8 mesh. If you are ever down this way call in to have a look at it.

Regards,
Russell
