Just thought i'd put it past you guys to see what ya think. I have been to danseys twice now with a shovel and pan and have only found small specks/fine gold (but plenty of it!)
under the bridge up from the camp ground was a good spot but only small stuff. also washed the roots of some overhanging grass literally 5 metres from my tent and found it to be covered in (small) of gold.

Have been getting into gold sniping recently and it got me thinking, is there anywhere around the danseys region that could be good for a bit of sniping for some bigger peices? anyone ever had any luck with some bigger bits up there? the gold there seems abit fine to me.

I know that there are claims up there and i wouldn't want to accidently poach someones land. (i know i'd be pissed if someone did that to me!)

-cheers

if you go from the camp up to the bridge take the right fork in the river and walk in a Km or two...from what i hear it isnt claimed and there have been small nuggets found in there.
