Seems like there is a new introductory level detector on the block at a really affordable price -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TFTRbb5Hmk

Unit = $159.00USD

Ship = $ 60 - $80USD (guesstimated)

Max Total = $240.00USD --------> $286.66NZD delivered to your door

Now compare that locally

F2 = $350.00NZD
Ace 250 = $480.00NZD (includes $100 free gifts)

Sure its nice to establish a rapport with our local dealers, however, our local dealers generally deal with ONE brand only & that's great if you wish to be brand loyal -

If you want to try different detectors then IMO its better to create a bond with an international seller that is NOT brand intimidated (oops focused)

All in all it should be interesting to see how this unit compares

Yeah - I see Tonznz has got the beast of the Tek stable - I am still a year or so away from the top shelf units, but there's no rush, keeps me dreaming lol -

I am using a Delta 4k for coin shooting, with both the 11"DD & 8" concentric and am really enjoying it, however, if put me in a tight spot regarding which is the better I would have to say the F2 - but only for one reason - the VDI readout on the F2 is so precise compared to the Delta ............. & that's what I miss

I no longer feel that cock sure about what year the coin is before I dig it .................... lol

How are you enjoying your move down south?

F75 nice machine - those parks & reserves up your way should yield quite a bit - a lot of history around there -

Good luck & safe hunting
