Hi guys, new to the fossicking scene but have been very interested for a long time!

I was wondering if you guys could shed some light on metal detecting and gold detecting?

Basically id like to know if there is a good all rounder out there that does both or is it best to have 2 seperate detectors, one for gold, one for the rest?

Budget is around $1000

Thanks in advance!

Hi Mossline. If you are in NZ (not Liverpool as your location says) then you may like to check out the
Minelab X-TERRA 705 detector that matches your request for doing both and is close to your budget.
You will find it on www.detectnz.co.nz
If you have questions you can email me off the site contact page.
