www.craigslist.com try areas in california. medford ,reno, redding, gold country etc theres usually a few on there, pretty much double the price and thats how much it will cost to your door that would include freight duty customs exchange rate.

haha yer i bought myself a keene highbanker but im not going to find a fortune with a shovel, and im not going to get a loan or crap like that, and end up paying 20-40 % more on top of a pricey dredge. i mean i could make one or buy new im weighing it up, i would prefer a secondhand 4inch keene dredge around $5000 but everyone still wants new price for a seconhand dredge. it will happen when it happens. youd be good for a loan gingerbread being a highly motivated dredger lol

Ha...loan hmmm no thats what banks are for!! i was in your predicament a few years back but without dicking around instead of using crap i went all out ticked out and spent top bucks and got a new dredge for not to much more than ur 5K no f##kn around set it up and go id start dredging in august and keep going evry day i could some days the cramp would set in surprise! but even though ur in a river you still need to drink !.
the difference between home built and imported was huge some days i used to dredge side by side to a mate of my,n who had the same sized dredge as me but a nz new dredge and the difference some days 10+ grams i dont think there was a single day were i wouldnt get at least 5 grames more a day than my mate and we were in the exact same ground....he sold his dredge withn a couple of months after that:) and hasnt looked back....DOOO it by a new 1 go hard ;) summer will be over soon.

take advantage of the ridiculously high nz dollar and buy a dredge from the us.

get the seller to freight it in several packages and declare it at a lesser value always saves a bundle on all the BS charges you pick up when they screw you over on purchases too.

Hi I look at getting a dredge from the us , I emailed keene & one of my friends said that they would,t get back to me. and he was right. so at the bottom of keenes page, is a what did you think of there suit,, I replied no much surprise surprise they replied, giving me a price of around $12000.00 usd shipped to nz 6" dredge. As i bought it in NZ for the same price. so i found it cheaper to buy it here

i had same problem with them a few years back, took a few weeks to get a quote and it was for the wrong dredge!! i dint think they give a crap about individual sales only to dealers and bulk sale.
they guys selling keene in nz are fairly competetive with the US prices and is the same or cheaper if you were to get 1 here versus importing yourself.

if you dont want to get a loan then i suggest holding onto your highbanker for a few months and get shovelling any chance you get.

yer i think ill just deal with dan in NZ might cost an extra $500-$1000 but less fkn stress and if the highbanker dredge combo doesnt sell (which i think it will) ill just go shovel dirt till the cows come home:)
