Hi guy's weather i still have my detector or not...feb club meet i will be there to have my final meet and hunt in CHCH..
As most of you know i am heading south and am looking forward to a last big meet up...I finish work on the 22nd so dont have to go to work the day after the meet so am planing on being out for a long hunt if i have my detector or someone has an extra i can borrow for the night..hahahaha

I am hoping that all of the members and friends in the surounding area can make it to the meeting and hunt as i think it would be our biggest turnout...
weather permitting of course..lol.

Looking forward to seeing you all there and giving you my new location..as i will always have a room open for anyone that wants to come down for a weekend to try there hand at a little gold hunting....im sure robert and i could take you a few places...lol...

Hiya Chris. Yep...def count me in for your final meeting and hunt. Will be bloody sad to see you leave :(

For anyone who doesn't know Chris, he would have to be one of the most passionate and dedicated people with regards to this great hobby of ours, that I have had the pleasure of meeting. Always willing to help out in any way he can, and give great advise on detector selection and how to get the best from your equipment. Plain and simply....just a bloody good bugger.
It's been a pleasure getting to know you Chris, and I look forward to catching up with you sometime in the Gore area.

Thank you for the kind words...it is going to be hard to leave this area but it is in my families best interest..will definatly meet up in the gore area and both robert and i will take you around a few places...

it was also a pleasure helping you out with your first machine and watching you find a gold ring on our first hunt together....A few of you buggers i met and helped teach did that....hahahaha coinnut did that with the yale ring also on our first hunt together..lmao...and me still without my first gold ring...then i sell my gold bug to foiled and bugger me he takes it and finds a gold ring on our first trip out, him with my goldbug...lmao....
even my 8 year old son..i took him out with the F2 and taught him how to use it and take him to a school yard and he finds a silver braclet bigger than any i have found...lmao....
but i have found my fair share of silver and will find plenty more.....
all in all it has been a big pleasure helping out where i could and fantastic hunting with the lot of you...and i am sure i will see a few of you in my travels...

and i will continue to post my finds from my new locations but maybe with a bit more gold in the mix..hahaha



But it has been a great run and i have learned a fair bit also..

Massive loss to us all here in the City, your enthusiasm was infectious and fired me up whenever I had the privilege of hunting alongside you. I shall certainly make that meeting.
