Has anyone had any experience of buying from metaldetector.com? Their prices are the same (exactly) as Kellyco, but they ship via USP, which is cheaper than the Fedex rates offered by Kellyco. I just want to make sure they are legitimate, and if there is any downside to ordering through that website rather than Kellyco...

Can't be any worse than Kellyco, if I had my way my packages would always be sent via UPS - fast, accurate updates on tracking and sometimes turn a blind eye to import tax if your right on that threshold of needing to pay. Kellyco ignore any email you send them, even if it's a potential sale - although despite that ship pretty quickly.

Just curious, what did you end up deciding to purchase in the end?

I'm going to get an AT Pro - kind of a compromise between something I'd need to upgrade quickly and not forking out thousands on a top end machine. I'm also looking at New England Detectors - their "freebies" are stuff I'd actually want i.e. a Lesche digger, flash headphones - and it appears that there 'may' be free worldwide postage. When I put in that I was in NZ and my post code it said postage free. I've sent them a Facebook message to confirm.

Forget about New Englands Freebies

I ordered a pro pointer and Lesche New Year Combo and they refunded the money saying it was only a US promotion, even though it clearly said free shipping in the Shipping Calculator, I emailed them asking about there other combo Pro Pointer and Lesche for US$137.45 (once again free shipping in the calculator and they never replied. Got my last Pro pointer from a guy on ebay for US$127.45 and that was free shipping.
I also got my AT GOLD from him just over a year ago.
