Was on the way to our crib at cosy nook and decided to take a detour and took the kids and the goldbug on the long hilly track in the longwoods the other day.Probably the best bush walk ive been on ever.Track is well maintained, toilet is probably the cleanest one i have ever seen(even has hand sanitizer dispenser). The signage is awesome with cut numbered rocks(with coloured cnc'd numbers engraved into them)which the kids looked forward to finding, these rocks are at points of interest. So there are old tram line cuttings and water race channels, dams and ponds from the 1800's when they used to mine gold up there.Just couldnt find old canton chinese town that is up there ,kids didnt really want to look for it after walking 40 minutes.Really worth the time to walk this track and there are a couple of longer 5-8 hrs walks as well.
