And a good thing too! It doesn't make it quite clear in the story but i believe they aren't allowed to own any detecting equipment in the future.I think the courts have made an example of these two,to send a message to the rest of us,theres plenty of good sites to have a go at without going on protected sites,so no excuse really.

Clearly had no respect. perhaps motivated by personal gain?

i'm sure we're all guilty of being tempted to dig somewhere we shouldn't but you have to draw the line somewhere. these guys clearly crossed it but boy they've been punished good to set an example of.
