Hi Everyone. Just want to introduce myself.
I'm retired, but used to spend the holidays fossicking in the Coro, 25 years ago. I'm now located there. Due to health reasons, I can't get into the steeper back bush country, now. However, I'm planning an extended trip around the SI in the next 2 weeks (weather permitting). I've dug out a couple of my old pans, and made a very crude type sluice...riveted 2 old aluminium sheets together ( from the trays of an old stove), and hope to get out into some of the SI streams.
I have been browsing this site for a couple of months and have found it very intereting. Thank you all for all the information etc.

Hi Ian, Thx for welcome. It's gonna be my first SI visit and hope to take in as much as possible. Will be in a Hiace campervan, but not sure of itinery yet. Would appreciate meeting up and any guidance. Thx again
