dad gave me a wee silver tobacco tin on xmas eve frm me pop who passed away a couple months ago and inside were a bunch of coins from most places he served in while at war and a few others and some bank notes. nothing super rare but a couple worth noting. firstly i now have my first farthing. also in there was a 1874 H penny and a standing liberty quarter dollar. the date has worn off but these were minted 1916-1917 type 1 and 1917-1925 type2 with raised date and 1925-1930 type2 recesed date. mines a type2 so puts it between 1917-1925. looks like he visited a few places. most of them are dated between 1930-1946. the french franc notes look like they should be framed. very detailed. ill bring some of them to the next club meet.just thort id share.

Wow. Very cool. If you frame those notes, put them behind special glass that prevents them fading!
