Hi Guys, Went out for a few hours after work today with the 4500 & 11" commander mono. Loving that combination at the moment. Still just hitting the old sluiced workings were the old timers washed off the over burden down to bed rock. Total of just 1.5 grams.

Good luck out there

john, i don't know how you keep it up.

getting pretty warm out there now for detecting.

i'm surprised you are not sick of other's worksites and have hunted out some virgin ground.

definitely good gold out there. just got to know where is worth lots of digging.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the comments.
Simon...Yes it is getting hot out there for detecting but not too bad after work & into the late evening. I generally find that if you go where gold has been found before & as we know nobody gets it all & there is always some that is missed. I think having a Minelab PI helps heaps too & having a selection of coils.

Good luck out there

JW :)
