Had a good day 17 silvers all up

H Crowns 1900 & 1898
Florins 1933 & 1934
Shillings 1908,1935 & 1937
Sixpences 1942,43,44,46x2 & a 1956 australian
Threepences 1903,33,42 & 46

The 2 half crowns, 1908 shilling, 1903 threepence and a 1875 penny where in the same hole! That's one expensive pocket spill.

Also got a couple badges and also a finely decorated ball thing, maybe from a charm bracelet?

And last but not least a 9ct mans ring with a black stone, the T in CT has a line under it, is that normal?

Any how's an awesome day, well chuffed. Will put some pics up later

Kiwi ones came up better than I expected as this spot is pretty hard on coins, British are worn, anyone want some bubbly pennies!

Sweet!

I note the lack of location in the post? On purpose? :)

yeah the spill was pretty cool, i got the two half crowns and the penny out gave the hole a quick scan- nothing so filled it in, thought i'd give it one last sweep as i walked away and bingo dug it up again for the shilling and threepence!! pays to double check.
I did consider asking if I could tag along with you today Jason but wanted to give this spot a real good going over and its no secret, im sure most of you have been there, when I post a pic of the cleaned up coins you'll know where they came from.

Excellent adam, great haul with a good sprinkling of sterling 925 stuff in there as well. Well done.

My greatest fear is that when I die my wife will sell my collection for what I told her it cost me.

I have never had two half crowns down one hole. Except for that time I was showing hatter a hole where I had pulled a half crown and he swept his coil over it and dug up another half crown! I must have been so excited when I had found mine that I broke the cardinal rule! well done on an amazing coin spill!
