Come hither and let me sing to you my child. Let me take away all that grief and frustration....... you poor sodding ba$#@rd. ;)

LOL im going to buy a metal detector and see if i can find some more on the banks or in the river, just get a AT pro or AT gold whatever one comes first :) i bet i will never find another in my lifetime :(

.....personally, I'd be putting the odds IN your favour of you pulling out another one (or two). Gut feeling says, from the patch you have there, I bloody reckon you've found either part of a stash that's been scattered, a small trading/bartering post or a popular fording spot. I look forward to tell you "I told ya so!"
Now, get that detector and git into it!.......and bloody good luck to you too. :)

Minelab baseball cap

Crisyboy and i had to go to auckland on the weekend to tend to distribution matters. With a little extra time on our hands we thought we would sneak up on the DetectNZ headquarters (one of our supporters) 4 charann pl, avondale, auckland, and detect his trees out front... but we missed the turnoff and with a limited map, had to ring twice to zone in. He said he would of recognised us anyway.
Was good to finally meet Metal Kiwi, checked out his Minelab Sales Showroom and had a good chat, got us a minelab baseball cap each and stocked up the shop with more mags.
Cool having a new cap dont want to take it off, specially this one.

The temptation to buy one of those metal detectors was overwhelming.

Hey Shane you do realize that the cap has Minelab on it right ?

Not hating on Minelab (at all), just teasing Mr Unshakable Garrett Ace 350 *8^P

I really enjoyed your visit Shane. It was good to meet you and Chrisyboy and also get an update on progress with your excellent Fossickers and Collectors mag. Just as well you weren't here today though as with a new shipment of detectors just arrived the temptation may have been too much for you. :-)
Did you go for a swing on the way back? Hope you found some cool stuff.
