Its there, pops up now and then. Its easier just to have a thread with regular updates seems to work fine.

I have edited post #1 to make things easier.

First of all, congratulations.
A couple of things:
A proof reader would be good.
In the article about the obsidian, there is a mention of looking at the photo re the colour. A link to a colour photo would be good, to make up for the black and white photo.

The magazine was not what I was expecting, but I enjoyed it once I snared it off my husband. He commented he had been expecting something less as well, so again, congratulations :)

Cheers for the feedback Turtle, glad you are both enjoying the read. The green tinge obsidian pic was originally to be on the cover as well, as to make use of the colour page. Started writing 8 months ago and re-edited close to issue time as to be up to date and thats where a few things changed, especially the cover shots as i wanted some form of metal detecting on there but opted not to, yet. Instead the vote was for moa bones, guns and GOLD.

Now that we have identified you through your advertisement in this thread - do we all get discount prices if we bid on your wares?...I am now off to perve, ogle and ponder your trademe offerings!

Thats disgusting - you havent got anything listed to bid on.

Friday nite six pak'n post

Have been out on a hunt or two, waiting to find something cool to start a new thread. No GOLD to report but something as precious, 'rain', a few good showers, one overnite, is good to see as there have been none in four months.
Anyhows, in amongst the doings i managed to keep aside the 150th copy of nz fossickers and collectors mag, dated, numbered and signed to give away FREE delivered to your door, this friday nite. If you dont have a copy but would like one, guess a number between 1 - 10. When all numbers are guessed i will have my faithful assistant draw the lucky beerlid number from the box. Last time this took two days and was good fun. Good luck.
One guess, per person, per five posts.
