Just new to this forum thingy, so perhaps some *older members* can give a newbie some insight to the art of metal detecting. I'm thinking I might have to go to the local jewellers shop to get my Garrett 350 working, even if it's just to know what kind of sound gold makes.
As I'm in Luggate perhaps some of you might have some pointers?

Above post from exkiwi looks like you are covered, but online manuals are great if you dont have the original, check you tube for instructional videos too - there's heaps.
