Nice group of finds there Roy. The pin is very interesting. I can only find reference to W.P.S.A.A.A. on a couple of old TradeMe listings. Both are selling the same badge as yours and also stating 1922. One mentions something about it being to do with a bowling club. That's the only reference I can find. Hope someone else has some ideas.
The ring looks real nice too........well done me old mate.

Yeah, was wondering what that was. Should be interesting when all cleaned up.
The long range weather forecast for Dunedin next weekend doesn't look too good at this stage...........hope they're wrong.

Hi Roy one of my very first finds was a 9carat pin badge and it has CPSAAA at the top. Its hall marked D&E and had a late 1800s date. It was for 100 yards champ1931 and has name on back. I couldn't find anything about it or the person but assumed it was Canterbury something maybe amateur athletic association so maybe yours is Wellington something something.
Hope that helps a little.
Nice going once again on ya finds!
There's another to find and I'm gunna find it!

Hey Jason, I think you're on the right track (no pun intended). I searched "Canterbury Public Schools' Amateur Athletic Association" and got a couple of hits.

As you say, maybe Roy's one is for a Wellington branch of the organisation. Always real cool to research and find some history relating to a find....awesome stuff!
