Spotted this fella working his claim on the west coast near the Goldsborough Shamrock Creek public fossicking spot. Would love to see the clean-up from this sort of operation!

It was a damn deep hole he was digging! One of my work colleagues who used to work over west told me that they'd do a few test pans in the area they're thinking of working, if 2 colours were found in the pan then it was deemed payable.
