Hi All,

I am what you may call a dormant detector.. I havent switched on any of my units for a few years.. I used to be very active coin / jewelry / relic hunting. I bumped across this forum and decided to join to see how the MD scene is coming along in NZ.

looking fwd to getting involved again, and dusting off the detector..

John

Hi Dan

I am from St Martins.
My units are not too old I guess. I have a whites MXT and Whites XLT.

I have previously owned various other models :
several bount hunter units
Garrett GTAX550
Garrett GTAX1350
Minelab Sovereign elite
Whites PI Pro
Whites beachunter
cant think of the others right now..

it would be good to dust off the units and get digging again!

Hi John and welcome from another Christchurch searcher.
Some nice machines you've owned, I was a bit of a Whites fan back in the UK, had a couple of spectrums, silver eagle etc.
As Poohbear said, it would be nice to catch up with you at our monthly get together. There always seems to be somebody doing Hagley during these summer evenings too.

My greatest fear is that when I die my wife will sell my collection for what I told her it cost me.
