hi,had to go to back to where i find those tokens yesterday had another good hunt ww2 medal, thousands issued,a nice hallmarked silver shoe [ coventry] ch silversmith,couple of pins and three threepences,another good night

hummmm if that is the first genuine war medal you have seen on this forum tonznz then you havnt been watching my posts...lol.
i post one from WW1 and am tracking down the familly...but the one i have isnt a star....

hi all,yes i remember the hunter find some naval medal,i seem to have found some place where parades have been lots of millitary buttons just normal trouser buttons and small tunic stuff,but very promising

WOW!!!!!!.........Charles Horner again. How come so much of his stuff ended up out here in NZ???
He was obviously extremely popular in the 20's/30's and very prolific with his work...........not at all surprising, with such variance of subject and uncompromising quality.

yes there has been a number of medals, what was I thinking. The one I loved was the life saving medal that was a bit "gay" looking i.e. "weird" looking, (doesn't gay mean weird. haha.)
