Hi All,

Our stock of detectors has arrived and so we are up and running although the showroom still has
some work to be done. Our first sale was to Peter in Christchurch. Thanks Peter.

Today I have put up on the DetectNZ blog a November package deal for
the Minelab CTX 3030 waterproof detector .

excuse the dumb question, but is the 3030 fully waterproof so that you can actually go scuba withit?

Hi Golddigger.

Not a dumb question at all.
The short answer is yes you can scuba with it but there is a depth limit.
I also need to check on the waterproof headphone details.

Here are the major features from the Minelab site.

With Target Trace and Target Separation, you can identify multiple targets simultaneously for accurate detecting results.
Full Colour Display: The full colour LCD clearly displays more target information than ever before and greatly enhances the CTX 3030’s discrimination capabilities.
GPS Locating: See where you have been, and where you are going, by using the Map screen and Navigation Tool.
