Does anyone know anything about lead seals that are around 15mm wide and circular. My one has a faint G followed by crisp PO then on the other side DN 170. Looks something like this. Although mine is much older looking the picture will give you an ide aof what it is. Could they be Post bag seals?

Yes post office seals I would say.
GPO = Government Post Office and the DN170 would relate to a branch probably.
Maybe post bag seals or possibly phone equipment long before Telecom.
