1806 George III Penny out of Hagley

Rank: Gold Ingot Medals: Groups: Registered Joined: 31/07/2012(UTC) Posts: 314 Location: Christchurch Thanks: 82 times Was thanked: 230 time(s) in 102 post(s)		went out this arvo to south hagley with nzpoobear and found a few coins inc 4 silvers and this beuty. it came out of the same hole as a 1879 penny. as far as i can tell its a 1806 george III penny in pretty bad shape. you can just make out the head and on the other side just make out the woman sitting. deffinatly makes this me oldest coin. also it is quite a bit bigger than a normal penny. I don't think itl happen but I'd love to get a 1700's coin and thats damn close! I didn't get out today but the rain better stay away tomorrow for my day of hunting somewhere!
