Hi everyone , element111 and i have a four inch mini keene dredge up for grabs we are taking serious offers on it,
it features an heat exchanger ,p180 attached to a 6hp Honda roughly done 50hrs is in great condition with a t80 compressor no air lines or dive gear and , has around 15 ft of new unused four inch hose and is currently using arond 10ft with swivel nozzle , pontoons are yellow and in great shape brand new frame, the only downfall to this dredge it is the older style with the box on the front of the sluice unsure what its called right now(crash box) we looked at getting it changed to a flare but upgrading to 6 inch does work fine but would be better with a flare,
I have not yet to figure out how to upload photos but a auction will be going on trade me very soon , will consider swap for 4x4 four wheeler and cash

Hi there, I am just curious about your heat exchanger did you have it made locally or import it? Is it a coil or water jacket? Is it louder than the standard muffler? any chance of a close up pic of the exchanger? sorry about all the questions it is hard to find firm info on heat exchangers and I am going to build one for the same size motor. Good luck with the sale. Cheers.

Hi jim1
i have a twin 6.5hp hondas on my dredge and use water jacket heat exchangers. I have it set up so it heats 1 lot of water twice, it has ample water for 1 diver but probably not enough for 2.
I think a coil type would have more efficient heat transfer i did have an email sumwhere from another dredger on building one if i find it i will pm you.
be sure to have a good filter, surge tank and a pull apart fitting at your waist make sure it can be done with 1 hand this could save a nasty burn.
with my heat exchangers on is slightly louder but i have seen some with mufflers mounted on them.

our heat exchanger on the 4inch is very quite look back on bearing sea gold you will see how the sluicy made there's right at the start of the season ,i am going to make one exactly like that and see how it works on the new dredge
