Okay,
I'm runnIng short on cash and I know a place where there is heaps of gold. It is un claimed. So can I dredge it without making a claim ? It's all really confusing

Thanks

My advice-dont draw attention to yourself.Under the radar is the way to go-snipe,crevice,sluice etc.
A noisy motor will just attract attention you dont need.

And it goes without saying if its on private land get permission first...

Definatly ask permission & to make it sweeter offer a percentage or at least the odd carton of beer or his/hers favourite top shelf. That works wonders & then you are both winners & you wont be looking over your shoulder. oh....maybe just fish & game LOL :)

JW :)

The actual application fee for a mining permit is not exactly that expensive, perhaps you should explore that option, or an exploration licnce, that way you do tie up the area in your name. Then you can work thru the issues.

You cannot mine without a permit, simple, but it will probably only be a government agency that would persue you to the letter of the law, the choose is yours at the end of the day.

I have my claim application on file so could share as a template after some adjustments.
