Very interesting indeed and one never knows - it has 'that' look about it - and nothing is impossible - other than getting money out of my wife.

Great spotting!
Certainly looks like one to me, crazy not... ;)

Wife reckons could be a shell, but I don't think there would be any shells up in the Waimak???

Thats neat, but i have my suspicions, more likely it's a yellowish rock and the video quality is not great either.
In regards to having shells in the upper Waimak theres no reason why you could'nt, the rock is 99.9% greywacke which as a marine sandstone has the possibility for fossils. In fact i have a fossil i found in greywacke up on castle hill peak, its not in the upper waimak but its the same rock. Oh unless you did mean shells as in casing's.

Yeah I think they may mean a shell from a bullet. Recently someone said -if you think it MIGHT be gold then its most likely NOT.
I recon thats mostly true

If it is a nugget it seems strange that a nugget of that size would be sitting on top of loose alluvium., unless it was dropped by someone. But then what would someone be doing carrying a nugget like that up there?

Well if it is not photoshopped it looks like it is just waiting to be plucked by some lucky bugger.
