A Real Nugget At Last - 18.3 grams

Got a few shots at a few different locations then decided to have a detect. Got the usual nails, a few shotgun pellets (strangely i only got 1 at a time - tried all round and no more pellets - maybe someone was sprinkling them about), a tiny piece of light aluminium, a washer, the usual dodgy hot rocks, then a faint signal. moved a couple of slabs of rock. still there but a little stronger (the GB2 only detects a few inches down as it's designed for small stuff), then bugger me days, a huge bloody nugget was just sitting there on the bedrock. After a near heart attack i detected all around. got more signals. thought it was it's mates. but no. more rusty bloody nails and bullets. I'll chuck a pic up later on. Im not as Im damn sure he would have made certain that there were no more laying around before he posted on here. Furthermore a large portion of Central Otago is capable of having gold like this hidden away somewhere waiting to be found. So the best place to look now is EVERYWHERE else!!! Good luck out here.
