Hi all. Yes, had a fantastic few hours out with Roy1954 today. I ended up with a 1940's/50's Royal Life Saving Society enamel badge, a 1917 Commonwealth Of Australia one penny in really nice condition, an 1895 Brit threepence (very worn) and a yet-to-be-determined 1860's/70's token. Hopefully after a good soak in olive oil, the token will reveal some detail.
Roy's Gothic florin is an absolute stunner......as good a condition as I think could ever be pulled from the dirt. Gotta love that wee NZ troop departure commemorative medal too.......not to mention the stunning little brooch....way to go Roy!
