Three rare Australian coins to be auctioned in Melbourne tonight (27/08) are expected to fetch more than $1 million.

The coins, the holey dollar ,the Adelaide Pound and an 1813 Colonial Dumps are expected to sell for more than $1 million.

So, the auction finished and 1813 Colonial Dump sold for only half of its estimate - 100K AU dollas!!!!!

So, Tony. i recon if you sell yours - you can buy another house or something :-)

Hi, my coin is prob about fine condition, maybe just under, so maybe worth $20k AU. I've found some worse than mine go for more, but some about the same or better go for less than $8k AU. Next year is the 200 yr anniversay of the coin so I'm waiting for then and see how those go in the first couple of AU auctions of the yr.
