Hi guys, Went out for two hours after work thursday night. Thought I was going to get skunked. On my way back to my wagon I tried one last spot where I had found gold before with the joey mono. I had on the 11' commander mono. I got a very loud signal & thought it was going to be rubbish. Dug it any way, & down about 8" the signal was out of the hole. To my suprise it was a 1.15 gram little nuggey. Before refilling the hole I scanned it again & there was another faint signal in the bottom. You beauty. Has to be another piece. Dug on down & it turned out to be a .22 shell. How the heck does a .22 shell end up being below a piece of gold? Obviously it wasnt virgin ground & had been turned over before. Went further on down this area & snagged a little .52 gram piece in a schist crevice. Again down about 8".

That jar must be getting a bit in it by now, and all this is as well as doing the building?

Hi Gary, Got 10 pieces for this weekend for just over 3 grams. So not very big pieces. Only 1 gram off 3ounces since being down here. Yes the gold is on top of the building. I have finished that house & onto other building jobs. So all is good. You getting out yourself up those Coro creeks?

Good luck out there

JW :)
