And looks like Gold Rush is heading south in to the jungle...

I'd never even heard of the country Guyana before this!

Let's hope they're not as incompetent this season! I hate the way these shows devolve into being about their personal lives etc. I just want to see the gold, or at least them trying to mine it, I don't revel in the drama.

Btw you haven't heard about Jonestown in Guyana many years ago? It's worth a read. I reckon if Jim Jones was running their crew they wouldn't have gotten away with being so bumbling and useless, he would have force fed them his famous poisoned punch pretty quickly indeed! haha

let's hope they don't spend all their time fighting the jungle and what's in it and actually do some decent mining. dunno why they left america. i thought at the start it was about encouraging americans that were down on their luck in recession times to make a go at something. perhaps with less laws restricting mining and filming we can see some real efforts put in to blow some gold out of somewhere interesting.
are the families tagging along?

ok. just watched the clip - may be right - first words were "they're out of their element" same old bumbling stuff i reckon. some is good. often a bit of bs too. i'll watch anything gold related anyway.

always wanted to head to somewhere 3rd world to look for gold. would be a real battle with wildlife, dodgy locals, and the elements. you would really have to watch your back. still, gold is where you find it.
