My first Gold Ring

After half an hour I found my first gold ring. It's a man's wedding band and I would say it has probably been there for a while. It was only about 5cm into the dirt but fairly stained. That first GOLD ring leaves you with a buzz you won't easily forget. I have no doubt that it's all out there for us to find..... just a good positive attitude, a dedication to swinging the coil whenever you can, learning your machine from top to bottom, and a wee bit of local research..........it's all out there to find! Silver often shows a much higher number on my machine. The silver shilling last night I found read 87 on my teknetics, but the gold coin I found a few days ago was a iffy signal and only 61 or so. I could have quite easily passed over the gold coin signal and moved on. Pays to dig everything I guess.
