Hi guys, Went out for a few hours after work & snagged 6 bits for 2.04 grams. 11" mono coil in a spot I hadnt detected before in the old workings that I frequent. Three were in one crevice & also one little speck that happend to be in the dirt along with one piece I got. Getting very hard to find bits in these old workings now. Got skunked, for the first time, 4 days in a row until tonight. One of the smaller bits was down about 12" & I cant believe it was the signal that I originally got but l couldnt find any thing else amongst the diggings pile. The crevice I got the three in the signal was the 2nd biggest piece & that was also down about 12". Once that target was pocketed I rescanned the bottom of the crevice & got another faint signal. Scrapped out deeper into the crevice until the signal was out & scored another smaller piece. Rescanned the digging pile & yet another signal.

12 inches deep! That sure seems better than what I saw the goldbug do. I would love a minelab. Whats the deepest you have found gold with the detector JW?

Nice going mate, shame about the 4 days without gold! 12 inches, man I can only dream of depth like that most of the gold I get is max of 4 to 5 inches.
And now....On sandy beaches and muddy soil, rings and coins await my coil!
