In addition, I have a figure in mind where it's not economically viable for me to sell. i.e. would be better taking it with me. As for how does it compare to the 5000? I am not qualified to say. As with any detector it is as good as you are at hearing the break in threshold. I understand the 5000 is a step up on removing hot rocks in less swipes of the coil. I have found sub gram sized gold (lead shot size) with the detector and the elliptical coil. Regards, Glen.
