"New Metal Detector Pinpointer TX 2002 Aust Stock whites garrett pin pointer"

Even the mix of names above looks shaky to me.

Looks like a cheap chinese model. You'd have to dig your holes twice as wide to fit it down there!

Hi there foiled again, What other pinpointers have you used to make a comment like "reckon you cant beat the Garrett for over all greatness"? I havnt used any pin pointers except my Falcon MD 20, which isnt really a pinpointer. I really like the performance of the minelab in the above comparison. Cost is quite a bit more than the Garrett though.

Years ago I was seduced by one of these ebay listings and bought a 'sherlock' pinpointer for 30 UK pounds. To say I was dissappointed was an understatement. If I was lucky I could get it to make a noise while pressed firmly against a coin. I used it once and then discarded it.
When I eventually bought the Garrett I couldnt believe how helpful and efficient it was. Internet 'user reviews', reports and testimonies bear out that certainly prior to the minelabs arrival, it has been without competition. I've never heard a serious hunter state that they prefer another model.

My greatest fear is that when I die my wife will sell my collection for what I told her it cost me.

Yea sounds right but there is a new fisher pointer and some new detectors too I believe. Slashes concert was great. Time for bed. See ya.
