Hi all, I've got a bit of time off coming up, 10, 11, 12 13 of August and 18 19 20 21 22 August, I'm keen on doing a couple of trips for the above long weekends, just wanting to know if anyone wants to tag along? Destination unknown at this point in time, and weather dependent. P.S these won't be for the faint of heart!!

Sounds interesting, especially the "won't be for the faint of heart"! Would love to join you, but I won't be able to get the time off. For future reference... I'm usually able to take the Fri off so can make trips that are a 3 day weekend ;)

Nearing the end of the current job we are on,
and might have some time off inbetween jobs.
Not sure when/how long that will be.

If i end up getting a week or something off,
that matches ya dates, ill inquire more too ;)

i would be keen but can only do weekends, may be a chance to meet up some where. I've got wheels, tent, detector, pan etc. all my sluice boxes and shovels are in the bush already but unfortunately 6-8 hours walk from the car. I know the West Coast and Nelson area well, never yet been south. I do have a 2 inch suction dredge but a weekend is abit pushed to carry all that gear. I rather locate a spot before lugging motors about. My phone is 021 02755258
