Hi all,well, i don,t know what to say really,i had a great day out.Today I dug 41 silvers,my best result ever!!
Also found some more millitary badges and buttons. The string thing is a pull through, used for cleaning out gun barrels.
The hat badge is from the signal corps, also a little epns spoon.I didnt manage much on the spendys,$10.00,but pays for the batterys, choice day, take care everyone and good hunting.

Absolutely mind blowing result Steve, a huge silver total. I cant imagine bettering that if I live to be 100.

For all you sceptics out there, I saw most of these come out of the ground and groaned as Steve shouted 'another silver' 41 times. As he counted them all up at the end neither of us could believe how many he had pulled from a relatively small area.

As mentioned elsewhere, I beat my personal best with a mere 18 silvers but cruised past Steve with 52 bucks of spendable gold coins.

I'm sure Steve will be gloating at the meeting tomorrow, where I intend to ignore him.

My greatest fear is that when I die my wife will sell my collection for what I told her it cost me.

Holy. Crap.

Interesting there's only a couple of non-NZ ones there and mostly small denominations. I'm guessing schoolyard. :)
