Hi all...from everything i have heard this domain was well gone over...but it is still giving up lots of good stuff.

Was out there a week ago with Foiled again and hunter and his misses and between the 3 of us guys we got
i think 16 silvers along with the normal stuff...

Well i went out there again today and ash joined me then later Oroplata joined us....between the 3 of use i think we ended up with 8 silvers

My finds for the day out there includ this Butter fly pin and this Royal Agric society members pin dated 1936

as well as the 1922 thrupence and the 1937 sixpence.......

But best of all...in one hole i found these 3 coins ALL Pre 1900..and all from a diff country...

from oldest to newest 1850 silver with the 20 on it from switzerland,,
then 1861 from Nova scotia canada with the crown on it..
then 1892 Greman coin with the eagle type bird on it.

Then tonight i went back into the city and met up with foiled and found a bunch of 2 cents and a few penny's lol

Good finds. All my rings come from well hunted areas.

Cheers Mike.

yup i know what you mean mike..lol....the amount of times i have heard from older guys in my neighbour hood that use to detect "oh hagley is all hunted out" and "all the parks around her have been cleaned out" yet i sometimes go to these parks within walking disstance of my home that are "cleaned out" and still find good stuff...i found 3 of my rings in a park just around the corner from my house...lol...but it is "All cleaned out" acording to all the old guys around here..hahahahaha

Yeah, I was happy with my 1900 and 1922 threepences and the bonus 1917 shilling pulled out of the car park area just as I was leaving.

Then I discovered that one of the halfpennies I pulled out was actually a 1909 "States of Jersey" 1/24 of a shilling. So that was four unusual coins pulled out of the ground today. :)

You have to love the "well hunted" sites. New equipment, skill and patience all add up to more finds. Well done

Ground conditions, swing pattern, laziness (I suffer most from this one). All effect the finds on 'that' day.
I have a fav spot that I always find more at even after being there a good dozen times. Makes you dig targets that otherwise you might not dig and as yo know.....you just never do know *8^)
