Got bored to day so thought I would make a homemade sluiceing setup it seem to work pretty well considering the riffles are old piping

Cool - one of those "poop" tube sluice boxes, been meaning to have a go at one of these myself as looks nice and lightweight. Though I guess you need a fairly long one to be effective?

Someone's done something similar here using plastic down pipe to keep the corrugated pipe in shape:

Yeh a longer one would be better but ive 2 differant sized piping one quite large riffles and the other smaller for the more fine stuff and also got miners moss in the last tin chute (not shown in pic) and ive run abit of dirt from a nearby creek with a small amount of gold in and then panned the tailings and found only really really fine gold dust in it so works well for a boredom build haha and putting the tubing in the down pipes is a good idea but the stuff ive got it agriculture grade stuff and holds its shape well a little to well haha : p

I have tried those rippled pipes cut in half horizontally as I had seen them on videos used without support. I found them unusable as it is almost impossible to keep them untwisted in the water-they could work if supported in another pipe as in the photos but that takes away one of the benefits of using them which is that they are light and can be rolled up.
