It was right below the "12oz can" on the conductivity display (9) and the size said can too. :)

Yeah, but if any coin is going to produce a response at that depth it's a large pure silver one, and if any detector's going to pick it up, an SD2x00 will do it. :)

Ringpulls on the beach. If theres a few around what i normally do if scuff away a couple of inches of sand with me shoe and if the signal moves away then it is most probably ringpull/foil. Should the signal remain, i dig, usually.
Its hard to determine a ringpull all the time with the ace. Even tho most of the time you know what they are. I say this cause a dead center ding on the screen sez GOLD, rings and pulltabs. I also find a lot of the larger coins on this signal.
So the question remains, is it a ringpull, a can or is it GOLD.

(P.S. if anyone wants a million or so ringpulls try russell beach...)

Digging below 700 on the beach. Generally stop digging then as alot of the time its old foundation posts and the like from old boat sheds or old jetties (or alloy cans), something like that. Landmines or car engines comes to mind.
