I'm itching to head over to the coast or down to Oamaru for a day or two of gold fossicking. I'm looking for some(one)/people to come along and perhaps share costs. My wife says its too cold for her so I'd like some company and always good to get another opinion etc when out fossicking. I have plenty of gear but no wetsuit etc so could lend a spare sluice/pan/buckets. Looking to go within a week or so. Maybe just the day, maybe stay the night to make it worthwhile. My wee bottle of gold is pretty pathetic so need to add some more to it!
Any detectorists welcome also, I have an F2 but no dedicated gold detector.
Who's keen?
Anyone welcome, even non members. Either pm me here or leave a msg or txt me on 0273700293
Cheers,
Chris.
P.s. I have a vehicle we could take but would be happy to go in yours if it suits so my wife can have ours whilst we are away.

Dont be shy!! :)

I'm keen to have a go with the Goldbug too.

Have started new painting job up the hills now tho,
so i could probably leave work early next Friday - Drive to where ever that night,
then could have all day Saturday/Sunday and drive home Sunday night or something like that.

Not sure when we will get a break in-between jobs again,
but when that happens, i could be off for up to a week.

Yep, today i told the boss i was keen to take the full weekend off next weekend,
and that was fine with him, so count me in :)

Only gear i have is the detectors, and other small tools,
so i guess the legnum will fit a couple sluice boxes, pans, buckets.

If ya like we can bash out some rough plans during a park hunt tomorrow if ya like?

More the merrier i say too, so if there is anyone else keen, speak up now :)
